Crews recently removed the tennis bubble that protects winter users of the courts at the Thalhimer Tennis Center. The bubble was relocated to an area farm for a new use and its contents have been recycled. More than 90 percent of the materials from the bubble and its equipment are being reused or recycled. A new tennis bubble is out for bid and will be purchased and installed by Nov. 1, 2009.
