The Medical College of Virginia Auxiliary today presented the VCU Medical Center Evans-Haynes Burn Center with a $34,000 check. The funds, which took nearly four years to raise, will help build a pediatric playroom in the burn center. Evans-Haynes is the only burn center in Virginia verified by the American Burn Association. Twenty percent of the center’s patients are pediatric cases.
