Members of the VCU Board of Visitors to meet Oct. 18-19

The State Council of Higher Education in Virginia is holding a mandatory two-day orientation for all new members of the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Boards of Visitors. Because Virginia Commonwealth University is sending three or more board members to this orientation, Section 2.2-3707 of the Virginia Freedom of Information Act requires that notice of a meeting of the Board of Visitors of Virginia Commonwealth University be given.

The meeting will be held on Oct. 18-19, in House Room 3 of the State Capitol Building, Richmond, Virginia, 23321.

Information about the meeting is available at http://schev.edu/index/institutional/Boardsofvisitors.  No discussion related specifically to Virginia Commonwealth University is anticipated. This meeting is open to the public; however, public comment will not be received by the board.
