Condit, Deirdre
Political Science
Condit's expertise includes women and politics, feminist political theory, public law and the courts and women's studies. In addition, her research covers body politics, gender and ethics in the politics of reproduction (including fetal rights, pregnancy and other reproductive rights,) and the politics of reproductive technologies and genetics.
Condit became a faculty member at VCU in 1994, on joint appointment as associate professor of political science in the L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs and in what was then known as the women's studies program.
