Etti Baranoff, associate professor of insurance and finance in VCU’s Risk Management and Insurance Studies Center, can speak on a wide variety of insurance and risk management topics.
Baranoff, a former insurance regulator in Texas, authored the book, “Risk Management and Insurance,” and co-authored “Risk Management for the Enterprise and Individuals.” She is a five-time winner of the presitigious Shin Research Excellence Award from the International Insurance Society. Baranoff has studied and taught all lines of insurance and can speak on both consumer and industry issues. Her interests include insurance contracts, insurance legal issues, insurance economics, management financing and catastrophes.
