Communications and Public Relations is the public relations arm of the university, leading the news and public information efforts of Virginia Commonwealth University and VCU Medical Center. The CPR office is VCU’s liaison to the news media. It’s our goal to meet your information and deadline needs.

CPR is a 24-hour operation. During business hours, the telephone number is (804) 828-1231. After hours, page the public relations staff member on call at (804) 759-7675. Please be aware that off-hour, on-call assistance is limited to true news emergencies, not enterprise reporting.
