Virginia Commonwealth University’s Division of University Relations received nine awards, including two top honors, in the 2011-2012 CASE District III Awards.

University Relations won two grand awards, four awards of excellence and three special merit awards from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education’s District III, which works to advance and support educational and professional institutions in the southeastern United States. The division’s entries consisted of work produced or executed between Nov. 1, 2010, and Oct. 31, 2011. Grand Winners, selected because of outstanding, unique work, will be recognized at an awards banquet during the organization’s annual conference on Tuesday, Feb. 21, in Atlanta.

“We are thrilled to be honored by our peers in such a competitive and distinguished contest,” said Pamela Lepley, APR, executive director of the VCU Division of University Relations. “I am proud of every member of our team who worked so hard to earn this well-deserved recognition. It speaks to the high caliber of work, creativity and collaboration of a talented and dedicated staff."

Grand Awards

• VCU’s Run to the Final Four - Total Programs, Institutional Relations Programs
• VCU Ram Field Guide - Visual Design, Design for Print

Awards of Excellence

• VCU’s Run to the Final Four - Specific Projects, Institutional Relations Projects
• VCU Human Resources website - World Wide Web and Electronic Communication, Overall Website Design and Implementation
• VCU Viewbook 2012 and companion website - Printed Publications, Student Recruitment
• Discover Richmond brochure and companion website - Printed Publications, Direct Mail
