Amelia Heymann joined Virginia Commonwealth University as a public relations coordinator in January 2022.
Before working at VCU, Amelia was a journalist at the Virginia Gazette in Williamsburg and then a digital producer at WRIC 8News in Richmond. Although she switched fields, Amelia still loves telling stories and informing the community through her work.
A Virginia native and alum of VCU, Amelia earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communications with a focus in written journalism in 2017.
