James Shea joined Public Relations in 2019. He writes and coordinates content for the VCU News website.
Beside working at VCU, Shea also owns a digital media company. He focuses on developing and implementing content, communications and SEO strategies for clients.
A graduate of the University of Oregon, Shea worked at daily newspapers in Colorado, North Carolina and Virginia. The Colorado Press Association, North Carolina Press Association, Virginia Press Association, Tennessee Press Association, and the Society of Professional Journalists have recognized his work.
