How I turned it around

Attending college is an experience unlike any other. For many students, it’s their first foray into adulthood. The first time they are completely responsible for themselves.

While each student has a unique experience, many issues they tackle are universal. Time management, difficult classes, and mental and physical health struggles are among the most frequent challenges students face.

In this series, Virginia Commonwealth University students share their stories of overcoming some of these challenges. While each experience is different, the students all stress to their peers that they are not alone in their struggles. And help is right around the corner at VCU.
