VCU Medical Center presents ‘Behind the Scenes at a Level I Trauma Center’

Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center continues its free educational seminar series this spring featuring experts who provide important health information and answer questions on a variety of current topics in health care.

The series’ next lecture, “Behind the Scenes at a Level I Trauma Center,” will take place on Tuesday, May 6, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, Education and Library Complex, 1800 Lakeside Ave. It is free and open to the public, but registration is required. “Behind the Scenes at a Level I Trauma Center” will be presented by Michel Aboutanos, M.D., chair of the VCU Division of Trauma, Critical Care and Emergency Surgery. The seminar will discuss the realities and advances in trauma care.
