Mia Stephens joined Public Relations in January 2024.
As the public relations coordinator for VCU Health, Stephens supports coordinating interviews for members of the media, content creation for VCU Health News and public relations analytics.
Prior to joining the health system, Stephens worked as a public relations intern for Hotwire Global. She began her career in restaurant operations at Chick-fil-A for 6 years before pivoting into the communications field.
Stephens earned her bachelor’s degree in communications with a concentration in public relations and a minor in general business from Virginia Commonwealth University (Go Rams!). She also holds a master’s degree in communications from Johns Hopkins University.
