HEADS UP, RAMS!: VCU Police and regional partners to host pedestrian safety fair

Virginia Commonwealth University Police and regional partners are bringing interactive education to VCU students and community members on the Monroe Park Campus with the Heads Up, Rams! Pedestrian Safety Fair.

WHO: VCU Police, Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles, Virginia State Police, Richmond Police, DRIVE SMART Virginia, GRTC, Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD), Hit Me Helpers Foundation, YOVASO (Youth of Virginia Speak Out About Traffic Safety), Siebert’s Towing, Rams in Recovery and more.

WHAT: Heads Up, Rams! Pedestrian Safety Fair 

WHEN: Wednesday, April 8, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

WHERE: VCU’s Compass and Park Plaza Amphitheater (outside James Branch Cabell Library)

“We could not be more thankful for our regional partners, who are all working to make our environment safer for pedestrians, cyclists and all travelers near VCU,” said Clarence T. Hunter Jr., chief of police at VCU. “This remains our top priority as a department, and we hope as many students as possible will come out to learn and engage with our team.”
